Talk to us about your software project

Tell us what you are trying to solve. A clear description of the problem is enough to start — a full specification and a fixed budget are not.

Getting in touch

How to reach us

You are considering a custom software project, and the best first step is a conversation. Tell us what you are trying to solve and we will tell you honestly whether we are the right team for it.

The fastest path is the form on this page. It goes directly to our team and we reply to project inquiries within a few business days. If you would rather talk first, call the number above. For project documents or background material, email works well. Pick whichever is easiest for you.

When we reply

Usually within a few business days during office hours. If a question is urgent, say so in your message and we will prioritize it.

Project inquiry form

Send a project inquiry

A good first message does not need to be long. Cover what problem you are trying to solve in plain terms, whether a current system needs to connect, any deadlines, and a rough budget if you have one.

We use your details only to answer this inquiry. See the Privacy Policy.

Prepare a short brief

What to include in your message

A long specification is not required. A short, plain-spoken note covering the items below is enough for us to reply usefully, and it often saves a round of back-and-forth before the first call.

01 / The problem

What you are trying to solve, in plain terms. Even a few sentences here is enough to get started.

02 / Existing systems

Whether the work has to connect to a current system, and if so which one. This shapes the technical approach more than anything else.

03 / Deadlines

Any dates or constraints that matter, such as a seasonal launch, a contract renewal, or a board review.

04 / Budget range

A rough sense of budget if you have one. Useful for scoping, and entirely optional — missing it delays nothing.

After you send

What happens after you get in touch

  1. A One of our team reads your message and replies with either a few clarifying questions or a suggestion for a short call.
  2. B If a call makes sense, we schedule one at a time that works for you.
  3. C The first call is a working session, not a pitch. We bring questions about the problem, the users, and the constraints.
  4. D If we are not the right fit, we tell you and, where we can, point you toward the kind of team that is.

When we are not the right fit

We are a custom software company, so we are not the right choice for every request. If you need a marketing website, a short-term team extension, or work outside our areas of practice, we will be upfront about it rather than take the project and hope. That saves everyone time.

If your project is unclear, reach out anyway. Helping you figure out what it needs is a fair use of a first conversation.

Common questions
Do I need a full specification before I write to you?
No. A clear description of the problem, the people it affects, and any deadlines is enough to begin. We will help shape the specification during the first conversations if the fit looks right.
Do I have to give a budget in the form?
It is optional. A rough range helps us suggest a scope that fits, but leaving it blank delays nothing. We would rather hear about the problem first and talk about numbers once we understand it.
How quickly will someone reply?
We reply to project inquiries within a few business days. If your question is time-sensitive, mention the date you are working against in the message and we will look at it sooner.
Can we meet in person in Chicago?
Yes. We work from the Loop and are easy to reach from most of the city. If a project calls for an in-person meeting, we are happy to host at the office or come to you.
What kinds of projects do you take on?
Websites, web applications, enterprise software, and digital platforms for U.S. businesses. If your project sits outside those areas, we will tell you clearly rather than stretch to fit.
